The Liberty Bell Museum is dedicated to the history of the Liberty Bell, particularly during 1777, when it was hidden in the area of Allentown during the Revolutionary War. The Museum is housed in the same place the bell was hidden during that time: in the basement of the Old Zion Reformed Church, located in the city center just east of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. Visitors can view a variety of exhibits and video presentations, as well as the Liberty Bell itself, or at least the state of Pennsylvania's official replica of it (the original is in downtown Philadelphia.)
